WebAdSystem says they are proud to be an excellent tool to help you find the best commercial websites presenting those that would be the most interesting to you directly on to the text of your most visited websites. To achieve this goal, it will scan and analyze the contents of every website you visit, searching for certain keywords. Once they are found, they’ll be turned into links, usually colored in green or blue and underlined. If you pass your mouse over those words an offer will appear.
WebAdSystem is offered through popular software setup programs that have been modified to include this adware among many others. WebAdSystem hopes people won’t pay too much attention nor read what’s marked while installing software, they would rather have people pressing “Next” without really looking.
By the mere fact of having this program installed, you have accepted without knowing to receive those ads mentioned before (data analysis via proxy or extensions) and also that this represents a legal binding contract between you and Kalityweb.
Besides slowing down your browsing, because every one of WebAdSystem’s task is done on the client side (meaning with your computer resources), it also represents a threat to your confidentiality. How to remove WebAdSystem ?
Remove WebAdSystem with CCleaner
- Download and install CCleaner by Piriform by clicking the button below.
Download CCleaner - Once the program is installed go to the Cleaner section and click the Analyze button. Once the scan is complete, click the Run Cleaner button.
- Then go to Tools > Startup and locate in each tab (starting with Windows, Internet Explorer) of suspicious statements which involve WebAdSystem or similar names. Whenever click Remove and Delete .
- Finally go to Tools > Uninstall , search for WebAdSystem from the list and click Remove if you find it.
