If, when you navigate the worldwide web, you see ads labeled ads by Storimbo, powered by Storimbo, or even Storimbo ads, it is caused by an adware that has infected your computer. Storimbo is actually a program developed solely to spread advertisements. It was developed by the company Super Web LLC, known for spreading hundreds of adware programs based on the same model. They spread this from their website that has the general terms and conditions of use and from the program itself that is often detected under the name BrowseFox by certain anti-viruses that consider it a threat.
Storimbo does not do anything except post ads on your browser; it records everything you do online and stores this information in a remote database, most notably the sites you visit, searches you execute, and other information like your geographic location, IP address, etc. These facts serve to tailor ads to your online entity and make you more likely to click them, but Super Web could just as easily sell them to third parties.
Storimbo attaches to your system when you install free programs that you downloaded from certain sites like softonic.com, download.com, soft32.com, etcc. These sites only want to grow their companies and have created installation programs that hide adware like Storimbo within, hoping users will allow them to install by not paying attention to every step.
