Ironic as on their website it says it’s a tool to test your internet speed and mentions nothing of its others capabilities… On the other hand there are free websites like www.speedtest.net that do that exact same job without the need of downloading anything.
Usually we notice SpeeditApp presence in our computers when we see ads identified as SpeeditApp Ads or Ads by SpeeditApp. These ads can present themselves as banners, pop-ups, fake Google results, or underlined words in blue or green within the text of the visited websites.
SpeeditApp is proposed along with free software. The authors of this kind of unwanted software know very well that most people won’t read what they are being told by setup programs. This allows SpeeditApp to attach itself to your PC without any fault, which explains why some anti-virus won’t treat it as a threat.
