SmileFiles is an unwanted software, actually a new version of SimpleFiles, a program already covered here at How to Remove last November. The tool is practically the same: it makes you think you’ll be able to download movies, TV shows, games, tools, and music from a supposedly large resources data base available through this tool. This of course, it’s not true, SmileFiles only allows you to download some irrelevant files and in some cases viruses that will affect your computer even further.
SmileFiles actually installs 2 different tools in your computer, the main software and SmileFiles Updater. This one will send requests to remote servers every once in a while to keep the program updated.
As if this wasn’t enough, there are more unwanted programs that come along with SmileFiles, such as Boxore, Hits Blender, Optimizer Pro, MyBestOffersToday, VuuPC among others. In these following pictures you can see the different stages of the setup program responsible for installing them all:
If you have SmileFiles in your computer, chances are you also have all of those unwanted programs too, just by going too fast while installing without noticing what’s been offered you got this problem on to yourself… And if you did notice, you probably saw that the “Decline” button doesn’t even work…
