Remove Settings Manager

Settings Manager is an adware program that pretends to be a legitimate one. It’s name could indeed cause confusion and, since users aren’t too sure about it, they don’t really bother trying to uninstall it. And when they do try, they end up trapped because Settings Manager does everything it can to make sure it doesn’t get removed from the operating system where it’s installed. It’s created by Aztec Media Settings Manager and is often detected as an unwanted program by a great number of anti-virus programs.

Settings Manager changes your browser’s homepage by default and replaces it with default-search.net. It’s part of the add-on called Linkey. If Settings Manager is on your computer, it will run in the background in order to prevent any program from modifying the settings that it put on your browser.
