Savingtoyou is an advertising program that runs on Windows and main browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome. It’s designed to show you discounts on websites that you visit and to propose you to benefit of the promotional offers when you visit online sales pages like Amazon. Though it may seem to be a useful service, it can be quickly intrusive especially when it begins to display advertisements at every opportunity.
When installed, Savingtoyou displays ads in the form of pop-up windows, banners and sometimes it doubly underlines keywords of texts in green or blue. Some ads may promote the installation of new extensions on your browser plus parasitic optimization utilities.
Savingtoyou is installed on your computer when you download free programs (even if there is an “official page”, it’s not mentioned on it). Be careful not to be so fast during the installation process and not to click the “Next” button without deselecting several unwanted programs that could be hidden.
