Ads shown by Joje are capable to make an appearance in all sorts of ways, it can either be as content within the website visited (pop-ups, underlined words, banners…) or as unexpected new tabs and windows opened automatically or following the amount of clicks you make.

As easy as ignoring what’s written in the install process’ windows we get Joje installed, because we tend not to notice the adware being offered as an optional feature. We must always be extra careful when installing something coming from the internet. This adware can be found in fake updates for software or plug-ins (like Java or Flash) usually offered in streaming websites.
If you’ve been infected by this adware, be careful not to trust some websites offering removal tools, usually they just try to force upon you some crapware you must buy and that will prove hard to remove afterwards.
