HQ Cinemax is an unwanted web browser extension, it adds itself without the knowledge nor permission of the user; we can find this malicious extension in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. We use the term malicious because it really doesn’t do you any good to have it installed on your computer. HQ Cinemax is developed to win money by means of your computer and yourself.
HQ Cinemax makes the best out of your lack of attention, because it gets installed at the same time as free software found in certain download platforms or in streaming websites that ask you to install some fake tools to watch videos. If you don’t pay attention to what you’re doing you might end up filled with additional tools like HQ Cinemax.
HQ Cinemax.uses your computer’s resources to show its ads (those ads will pay it for it). These ads will be inserted in every website you visit, specially e-commerce websites like Amazon. This continuous display of ads will ruin the visual look of every page visited and your browser will take longer to respond, in the mean time it will save every possible data of your browsing habits. All of these will be transformed by the adware in some way or another into money. HQ Cinemax’s creators had made their software capable of staying as long as possible in your computer… Making it really difficult to uninstall it.
For your information please know that HQ Cinemax is detected as suspicious by 22 security software.
