ConstaSurf, which was developed by Superweb LLC, is currently classified as an advertising program (adware) that attempts to display advertising and generate traffic for its partners. ConstaSurf is a browser add-on or Browser Helper Object for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. In other words, ConstaSurft is able to take over all basic browsers installed on your computer and all at the same time. ConstaSurf is usually installed accidentally along with other programs downloaded for free on the Internet. If you don’t read the Terms and Conditions or don’t select the personalized installation option when installing free programs, you could end up with adware programs such as ConstaSurf.
On ConstaSurf’s official website, they claim to improve your browsing experience by offering you discount coupons and offers while you browse the Internet. In fact, ConstaSurf displays a lot of advertisements and discount vouchers when you visit commercial websites such as Amazon. But don’t be fooled: the various offers that are displayed on the websites you visit are fake. The adware program is just trying to get you to click on its ads. Some of the ads are sponsored links that are meant to make money for the adware’s author when you click on it; others redirect you to malicious websites. In this case, the Trojan Horse and Rootkits could automatically be placed on our computer. Simply put, ConstaSurf is a threat to your computer’s safety.
