CamStudio is a free video and audio recording tool for your computer. CamStudio allows you to record available files in AVI or SWF (Flash) format. It also allows for voice recordings.
It’s relatively easy to use, and several recording modes are available depending on the area of the screen that you want to capture: fixed region, window or full screen. Next, choose and set the codec, and then you just have to start the recording with the button made for that purpose or with a keyboard shortcut.
Even if CamStudio can be useful, things get complicated when you have to completely uninstall it from your computer. Actually, CamStudio is known to be a pretty stubborn software program when it comes to removing it.

How to remove CamStudio ?
Remove CamStudio with CCleaner
- Download and install CCleaner by Piriform by clicking the button below.
Download CCleaner - Once the program is installed go to the Cleaner section and click the Analyze button. Once the scan is complete, click the Run Cleaner button.
- Then go to Tools > Startup and locate in each tab (starting with Windows, Internet Explorer) of suspicious statements which involve CamStudio or similar names. Whenever click Remove and Delete .
- Finally go to Tools > Uninstall , search for CamStudio from the list and click Remove if you find it.
